Glottolog provides a comprehensive catalogue of the world's languages, language families and dialects. It assigns a unique and stable identifier (the Glottocode) to (in principle) all languoids, i.e. all families, languages, and dialects. Any variety that a linguist works on should eventually get its own entry.
The European training thesaurus contains more than 2500 terms (descriptors and non-descriptors) related to vocational education and training (VET). It is an essential working tool of Cedefop’s information and documentation service, currently used to index and retrieve information from Cedefop’s databases: bibliographical database VET-Bib, ETV news database, European research overview database, European training village website.

The Bioethics Thesaurus is a controlled subject heading vocabulary developed at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Georgetown University, specifically for indexing the literature of the cross-disciplinary field of bioethics. It was used to index BIOETHICSLINE from 1975-2000. The first published edition of the Bioethics Thesaurus appeared in the 1975 edition of Bibliography of Bioethics, containing 475 Keyword Descriptors. In 1999 a print edition of the Bioethics Thesaurus was published that contained 715 Keyword Descriptors.
